Rhonda Carrier
As a dedicated jogger since 1982, I decided to add yoga to my training. The increase in strength and flexibility made such an impact to my running and physical body that I wanted to learn more about this ancient practice of yoga.
I have trained with some of the leading headline teachers in the U.S. and abroad in topics covering such areas as Meditation, Anatomy, Cancer, Stress Management, Addiction Recovery, Trauma Training, and Exercise for Special populations. My background reflects numerous workshops and conferences with training in several styles of yoga and fitness.

The Yoga I Teach
My styles of teachings include several different yoga disciplines such as Iyenger, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Kundalini with an influence on traditional practice of Meditation, Chakras and Bandhas. My senior and physically-challenged gentle yoga classes are a mix of Asana and breath work using props and chairs, with some standing flow stretches.
My children’s classes incorporate a mix of music, stories and games to create a well balanced yoga class, utilizing tools from some of the greatest teachers in children’s yoga: Baron Baptiste’s “My Daddy is a Pretzel,” Marsha Wenig’s “Yoga Kids,” and “Rainbow Kids.”
